Living as I do at the crossroads of several different
European cultures, modulating styles and languages rotate
the kaleidoscope of daily life. I live in the picturesque
wine-growing village of Vouvry, near Montreux on Lac Léman
(Lake Geneva), in Switzerland. When my home was built nearly two
hundred years ago, it was used to store carved wooden wine pitchers.
This region belonged to France in those days.
Borders have changed. Communications have too.

Since Roman times, the
Rhône
Valley has been the most important axis in
communication and learning from the north of Europe to
the centres of culture and art in Italy. Scholars and
musicians wended their way on horseback along this
fertile plain to the snow-covered passes over which lay
the most important centres of learning in mediaeval
Europe. One such, the University of Bologna, dates from
the 12th century.

Today, there are cars, planes, and the Internet. Language, however,
remains the most vital and direct of all methods of communication.
Whether you write reports, letters or email; publish your work,
script or thesis; deliver a lecture, speech, or public address; polish,
style and structure are the vital components of your success. Rhythm in
language and interesting use of vocabulary will capture the
attention and imagination of your readers and listeners.
I specialise in communication, marketing, and
the interpreting of your words
from French to English with elegance and accuracy.
